Donating Blood

I stopped by the Red Cross to donate a pint of blood today. It had been January since I had last donated blood. I had an appoint for a couple of months ago, but I didn't make it back from a business trip in time to keep my appointment. I used to give blood fairly regularly and I fully intend to resume doing so. I have already made another appointment to give blood as soon as I can. I really don't like giving blood as I do not like pain and having that needle stuck in my arm hurts a little. However, I feel that giving blood is something I can do to help others, and as my blood type is O-, it is always in need. It does a lot of good, and it really doesn't hurt all that much.
